What is Home & School?


All parents are considered members of the Home & School Association.

The purpose of Home & School is:

o    Cultivate a better understanding and a spirit of cooperation
between home and school

o    Offer programs of interest and special activities that give
families the opportunity to have fun with other families

o    Raise funds to assist with materials, equipment, special programs, etc.

Some of the events we sponsor are:

o    Back-to-school faculty luncheon, teacher start-up checks, teacher
requests

o    Book fair

o    Box tops, milk caps, printer cartridges, receipts collection

o    Faculty treats

o    Fall Festival

o    Fundraisers such as Seroogy's sales and bake sale

o    Add to the Catholic Schools Week celebration

o    Grandparent's Day

o    Uniform Re-sale

Some examples of things we have purchased with the money we raised:

o    New slide for the elementary school

o    New sports and play equipment for the middle school

o    Learning materials for science

o    Reading labs

o    Computer technology

o    Items that enhance student and teacher life


We want to ensure our children are receiving the best educational
experience possible, as well as give the teachers extra resources to
provide such. We also show appreciation for all that our teachers and
staff does!

We appreciate everything you do to support Home and School, through
volunteering to help with events and by participating in events as you
are able. We are blessed to have the parent support we do. You will
notice that we will ask for help with events as they come up. Please
know we are very conscientious of how valuable your time is, that's
why we try to get as many people involved as we can to keep the
commitment as minimal as possible. And if you are new, there is always
someone there to show you the ropes! It's a great way to get involved
with your children's school and meet other families. Look for more
from Home and School in our newsletter that is included in the weekly
family communication.
