2012-2013 Class Options
Preschool
This is a class designed for 3 and 4 year olds to introduce them to a formal school setting. The focus of this class is learning through play and using creativity. The children will work on name recognition, learning a routine, following directions, and social skills. Christian values and bible stories are part of this program’s curriculum.
This class meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The fee is $988 ($13 per half day x 38 weeks).
This program follows the Notre Dame Elementary School calendar. On Early Dismissal days, Preschool students are dismissed at 11:20a.m.
Notre Dame Pre-School Curriculum Outline
Pre-Kindergarten
This full-day program is designed to ease the transition into kindergarten. This class is designed for 4 and 5 year old children. Our developmentally appropriate program focuses on kindergarten readiness. Our curriculum includes learning routines, following directions, fine and gross motor skill development, early reading and early math skills. Children will learn to write their names, be introduced to letters and sounds, and rhyming. Christian values and bible stories are part of this program’s curriculum.
This class meets from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., and offers 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day options:
The fee for the Tuesday/Thursday program is $1520 ($20 per full day x 38 weeks).
The fee for the Monday/Wednesday/Friday program is $2280 ($20 per full day x 38 weeks).
The fee for the Monday through Friday program is $3800 ($20 per full day x 38 weeks).
